Tenant Application

In the Durham Region Rental World, it is important to communicate to the Landlord that you are able to afford the home you wish to rent. Before we get out to look at any homes, we will prepare our “Tenant Package” which will help put your best foot forward.

Getting Ready to Rent

For Existing PMR clients:

Complete the Tenant Application below, leaving the first line blank for now.

For each Tenant that will be on the Lease, you will need to provide:

Proof of income or letter of employment with two current paystubs
Current Credit Report – full report with score
Proof of Savings (not always required – we will discuss if necessary)
Drivers Licence or Photo ID
A short introduction letter to the Landlord (your agent will direct you with what it should contain)
*Self Employed – last two years of NOA’s instead of paystubs and letter of employment
Retired – if you will be paying the rent from the proceeds of the sale of your home, we will need to show that along with the credit report.

For a guarantor or a co-signer, we will require the same information to be included in the tenant package.

For existing clients, once we have this information package complete, we are ready to head out to see available properties.

You will also need to arrange for tenant insurance with your Insurance Company and provide a copy to the Landlord once we have secured a home for you.
